Randall P. Nacamuli, MD completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, San Diego. He attended Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the honor medical society, graduating in 1998. He returned home to the Bay Area to pursue his General Surgical training at the University of California, San Francisco – East Bay. This training included an extensive period of research at Stanford University, focusing on cranial suture biology and tissue engineering. Dr. Nacamuli’s research was funded by both the American College of Surgeons, as well as the Plastic Surgery Education Foundation. After completing his research he spent six months at the Buncke Clinic in San Francisco, a hand and microvascular surgery center. Dr. Nacamuli received his training in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Oregon Health Science University, graduating in 2007, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Nacamuli’s clinical interests include breast reconstruction, reconstruction of post-surgical facial defects, and all aspects of aesthetic surgery. He has authored over 30 peer reviewed publications, co-authored 3 book chapters on Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, has presented at numerous national meetings and is an Active Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. With a keen eye for detail, a warm bedside manner and open approach, Dr. Nacamuli provides all patients with thoughtful, compassionate care.

 

Thomas L. Yen, MD was educated at the University of California, Los Angeles before undertaking his medical studies at the Ohio State University. He continued his training at the University of California, San Francisco in Surgery and Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. After practicing Head & Neck Surgery at Kaiser San Francisco for one year, he went on to complete his training in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Oregon Health Sciences University.  He has authored several manuscripts ranging from tumor biology to facial nerve dysfunction. Dr. Yen is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery as well as the American Board of Otolaryngology.
 

Dr. Yen is particularly interested in head and neck reconstruction, breast reconstruction, and all areas of aesthetic surgery.  His dual training in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Head & Neck Surgery and makes him uniquely suited for complex head and neck reconstruction and facial aesthetics. Dr. Yen strongly believes in individualizing each operation to the needs and expectations of his patients.
