Internal medicine
is the medical specialty concerned with the diagnosis, management and nonsurgical treatment of unusual or serious diseases. Dominican Medical Foundation's Internal Medicine Physicians, also called Internists, provide comprehensive preventive care and are trained to diagnose complex or severe chronic illnesses. Internal Medicine Physicians provide adult primary care services to support both men's and women's health.
