Dominican Medical Foundation Welcomes New Physicians
Two Primary Care Physicians recently joined Dominican Medical Foundation to meet the continuing healthcare needs of families in Santa Cruz County.
Kimberly Owens, MD completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California at Santa Cruz. She received her medical degree from the University of California Davis School of Medicine, and completed her residency at Mercy’s Methodist Family Practice program in Sacramento. Dr. Owens chose to specialize in family practice for the opportunity to provide compassionate healthcare to people of all age groups and backgrounds. Dr. Owens joins Dominican Medical Foundation at our newest care center, located at 2018 Mission Street in Santa Cruz.
Carmelita Cristobal, MD is Board Certified in Pediatrics and received her medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. She continued her training with a pediatric internship at Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey. After 18 years in medical practice and a building a successful pediatric practice in Minnesota, Dr. Cristobal has relocated to the Santa Cruz area. Dr. Cristobal joins Dominican Medical Foundation at our Capitola Pediatric clinic, at 1820 41st Avenue in Capitola.
