Dominican Medical Foundation Announces New Physicians

A Family Practice Physician and two Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons have joined Dominican Medical Foundation to meet the community's health care needs in Santa Cruz County.

Arunasree Chinnakotla, MD, is Board Certified in Family Practice and completed her internship and residency training at Michigan State University's affiliated Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Dr. Chinnakotla received her medical degree from Rangaraya Medical College in India. She has been practicing medicine for the past three years in Michigan, with her practice focus ranging from Women's Healthcare to Pediatrics and Adult Medicine to a variety of Outpatient Procedures. Dr. Chinnakotla is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. In addition to fluent English, she also speaks Telugu and Hindi.

Randall P. Nacamuli, MD, completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, San Diego and attended Medical School at Temple University in Philadelphia where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. He returned home to the Bay Area in 1998 to pursue his General Surgical training at the University of California, San Francisco – East Bay. This training included an extensive period of research at Stanford University, focusing on cranial suture biology and tissue engineering. After completing his research he spent six months at the Buncke Clinic in San Francisco, a hand and micro-vascular surgery center. Dr. Nacamuli received his training in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Oregon Health Science University, graduating in 2007.

Thomas L. Yen, MD, was educated at the University of California, Los Angeles prior to his medical studies at the Ohio State University. He continued his training at the University of California, San Francisco in Surgery and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. After practicing Head and Neck Surgery at Kaiser San Francisco for one year, Dr. Yen went on to complete his training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Oregon Health Sciences University. He has authored several manuscripts ranging from tumor biology to facial nerve dysfunction.
